Central Coast Folk Festival

An Acoustic Folk & Jug Band Jubilee - May 6th

  • The Red Barn Community Music Series, in cooperation with Last Ramble Events, is presenting an acoustic folk and jug band jubilee. Branching out from the Red Barn Music Series, the 1st Annual Central Coast Folk Festival is a daylong event packed full of various American roots music performers and bands from all over the state. From Oakdale, Willy Tea Taylor is bringing his well crafted stories and tenor guitar.  From Los Angeles, Moonsville Collective will be offering their “Americana tornado”.  Local favorite, Amber Cross will be using her alluring mountain voice to bless the afternoon. G Burns Jug Band from San Diego will take you back in time with a pure 1930's sound. These are just a few of the many wonderful acts, (along with Cajun, blues, and traditional string band) that will pair well with your food, beverage, and dance. Food trucks will also be on site . Your admission wristband will get you in and out privileges all day. It's BYOB but keep it family friendly. This will be a wonderful time for people of all ages and we hope to see you there!  The festival is on Saturday, May 6th in the Red Barn at the Los Osos Community Park.  Doors open at 1:30.
